It's Not Easy Being a Big Sister

Oh, how sweet!

This picture was taken about 30 seconds before Noelle took the block in her hand and whacked her brother with it. Good and hard, too. On the head.

It's hard adjusting to being a big girl. We'll keep working on it.

Hospital Pictures

These are some pictures they took at the hospital and some fun birth date statistics.

Preston Kent Dopp

Our little boy is here!

Preston Kent Dopp
Born July 20, 2011 at 12:53 pm
7 lbs. 13.5 oz. and 21 inches

We are so glad that he is here safe and sound. The delivery was pretty uneventful. Everything went well. He did have a knot in his cord, but it was loose enough that he was okay. He spent his first day with us pretty sleepy and quiet.

It was a trick.

He has found his voice and opinions already and is keeping us hopping.

This is the very last picture of me pregnant ever! Right before we left for the hospital on Wednesday morning.

We love this sweet little boy. We recognized him immediately. He looks a lot like our other kids, but also a lot like his dad.

The kids were so excited to meet Preston. They love him so much. Even Noelle is turning into a great helper and big sister.

You might remember this side by side of the kids from when Noelle was a baby. Well, we added Preston onto the end. Peas in a pod, those kids!

We love you Preston! We are so glad you are part of our family!

Coming Soon

Tomorrow is the big day! Baby Boy will be here in the early afternoon tomorrow. Maybe it's because I know the exact day and time or something, but I am really anxious and excited. I am counting down hours, and I keep thinking about what I'll be doing 24 hours from whatever time it is.

Wish me luck! Posts full of baby cuteness to come soon!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Why is it that every time I turn around I find this baby on top of something or making a mess of something?

I don't know. I've never had a kid like this. I do think that it might be related to how she ends up like this.

18 Months

Noelle is 18 months old and has grown a ton since her last appointment. Her new stats:

Weight: 21 lbs. 12 oz. (15%) Up 4 lbs in 6 months
Height: 32 inches (75%) Up 2 inches in 6 months

She's getting bigger every minute, or maybe it just seems that way since I'm getting bigger every minute....

I can hardly hold her anymore. Poor girl.

Public Speaker

Yesterday was a big day for Avery, too. She gave her first ever primary talk! I didn't get to see it, because I was teaching. So sad. But Bryce helped her and both my parents went to watch. She didn't have a microphone (I don't know where it was), but she did good. Her talk was called "I Love to See the Temple".

Great Job Avery!

P.S. Noelle did pretty good in nursery, too. Only a little sadness and sorrow and standing in the corner. Ha.

I'm A Big Girl Now!

Today is the day! Noelle is 18 months old today and gets to start nursery at church! It will be a nice two weeks with no babies to look after at church. Haha. Luckily newborns don't usually cause too much trouble. Right?

Right?
