Primary Program

Yesterday was the Primary Program. Ethan's very first, so the first one I've seen with one of my kids in it. They were so sweet. Ethan did really well saying his part. "In the temple we are sealed as families forever." He had it memorized and spoke loudly. What a good boy. My mom and Bryce's parents were there to see him, and it was a really special day for Ethan. We love our little boy so much. I am so thankful for the church and for primary. What a blessing it is to be able to learn gospel principles at such a young age. Thank you to all those who do so much to show my children what is right.

A Day at the Park

We went to the park the other day with our friends, Dallas and Jami, and all the kids. We tried to get the kite up, but the wind wasn't really cooperating. They did manage to get it to stay up a few times. Here is lift off.


After a while a soccer team invaded our field, so we took off to the other side of the park to do some mountain boarding. And when I say we, I mean everyone except me. Bryce took Ethan and Caitlin down the hills, too. Here is a video of Bryce with Ethan.



I have a video of Bryce with Caitlin, but people were in the way and I didn't get it very well. So here is a picture of them.

Everyone had such a good time. We can't wait to go to the park more often as it gets cooler.

Avery Walking

I don't know what happened, but I haven't posted in a while. It takes a lot of effort to hook the camera cord up to the computer, right? So, Avery started walking. Finally. She was definitely slower than my other kids, but it didn't surprise me. She crawled late, too. Here she is, being all wobbly.

California

Bryce's Uncle Mark just got married on Tuesday in Pine Crest, CA. We flew the whole family up there to be with Mark and Beatrix on their special day. We had such a great time. We got to stay in cute little cabins. Almost like camping, but with electricity and plumbing.



We did a lot of fun sightseeing. We went to a place called Big Trees. Can you tell why its called that?



Then we went to Mercer Caverns. A big deep cavern with a bunch of cool rock formations. It was pretty steep and scary. Especially in flip flops and holding a squirmy baby.


We all got together for some music and campfire fun.



Then was the wedding. It was on a beautiful beach at Pine Crest Lake. Beatrix was gorgeous and we had such a good time being with our big extended family.






The kids had so much fun and even made some new friends.

Caitlin and Little Dog (Spitz). She followed Mark and Bea's dog around the entire week. If we ever couldn't find her we knew just where to look. She was in love.

We had such a great time and are sad that our relatives are so far away. We can't wait to visit again.
