Spooktacular

Last weekend was our Family Halloween Spooktacular. Thanks to everyone that came. We had a great time and Bryce's band played really well. The kids loved watching their dad up on stage. Here are our pictures from that night. Thanks Scott!

Do you recognize us? You probably don't unless you saw the movie. Here's some help. And yes, the Sunny D and Tic Tacs are relevant (rent the movie). And I really tried, but couldn't get Bryce to hike up his shorts anymore. Sorry Ladies!

And here's the whole fam. Cowgirl Caitlin, Wolverine Ethan, and Supergirl Avery!

Go to the Spooktacular Blog to find out how to download your pictures from that night!

We wanted to invite everyone to our Halloween Party. Bryce's band is playing again this year and it should be lots of fun. It's over on Recker/Baseline. Go to this blog to get all the details:

Fall Soccer

The kids started soccer again. I feel like we just got done with soccer and we're starting up again. I usually only do spring soccer, but I figured I might be a little busy this spring. I'm actually liking the weather a lot better.

Bryce is Caitlin's coach this year. I think she loves it, and I hope Bryce is having a good time, too. Three year olds aren't too hard to coach. Just point them in the right direction.

Little Fish and Big Dogs

The girls took a few swimming lessons last month. It was Avery's first time. She adjusted pretty well and went under the water faster than I thought she would. And only a couple times when she wasn't supposed to. The girls both looooved the pool noodles. They could swim around like that all day.

Their teacher, Cherida, has a Great Dane. If you know Avery, you know she is not fond of animals. Real, stuffed, or cartoon(except Curious George). As soon as she sees an animal she begins to A)chant "Go away" over and over again or B)scream bloody murder. So, I was anxious to see how this situation would play out.

Wait a minute...where'd she go? I guess she really will do anything to get away from animals. Even escape underwater!

I absolutely love kids in goggles. Just the cutest.

The Dentist....dun dun

My kids had dentist appointments last month. It was Caitlin's first time and she did really well. Except....yes, you guessed it. A cavity! She's only three! And I promise we brush her teeth. The dentist said that one of her back molars formed wrong and the enamel didn't grow all the way over it. So, it has nothing protecting it. Great, right?

So, we had to go back and get a filling. She did so good and I was really proud of her. And it only took her 17 minutes to pick out her prize afterward (the hygenist finally just let her have two prizes).

This is Ethan. He did great, too. They were both so excited to go to the dentist. Haha...they'll learn.

Sorry Teacher...

My dog ate my computer.

Okay it wasn't a dog, but something sure chewed up our computer and spit it back out. My husband assures me that computers really only last that long, but I have my doubts.

I never realized how much I need our computer. I got nothing done. I didn't blog or respond to emails or get my R.S. reports done or anything for over a month. (By the way, Dell, I am not cool with a month to get a new computer.) So, that's why I've been away so long. I'll try to catch up.

P.S. If you really want to try something fun, try breaking your TV for a month and a half. Then overlap that with no computer for over a month. You get really creative with your kids.
