Ahhhh...June

We are loving summer and having so much fun. So far we are thankful for Costco...

And for the Lovells, for inviting us to a great pool party and providing the waterslide.

Our kids could slip and slide and run around in the sun all day long. Isn't it fun to be a kid?

Ethan, Caitlin, and Mitchell.
My kids get really silly when they are having fun with their friends.

Avery was definitely not going down that slide. Good thing we had a little pool just her size.

And Noelle had her first swimming experience. Doesn't it look like she and her cousin, Tyce, are having a blast?

The great thing about having the kids preoccupied, is that the adults get to sit around and enjoy each others company. Even if we are all holding babies. Yay for adult conversation!

I am so thankful for anything that will keep us cool and happy this summer. And for good friends to spend time with. We are also looking forward to a couple vacations this summer. It will sure be great while it lasts. I know it will be time for school again before we know it.

What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.

Cute summer pictures. I'm jealous of that awesome slide--it just looks so fun to play in.

I'll for sure keep your offer in mind. My mom should be here for sure July 13th. She's hoping to get here earlier but isn't sure if she can without canceling her flight and driving down. But I'm listening to the doctor and just looking forward to next week's checkup :D. Thank you though, you're such a thoughtful neighbor.
