Avery's Third Haircut
Yes, it's true. Avery is already on her third haircut at 9 months old. Good thing she's a girl. I think Ethan had 6 his first year. My kids just have crazy hair. I was actually just trying to cut off all of Avery's dark baby hair, so it would all be one color. But, now she looks like Annie or something. She is just a big ball of curly hair.

What Else?
What a week it's been. We've had landscapers here 2 times this week. First, to clean up the yard. Then to fix our sprinklers in the back that weren't working. Then we noticed that our carpet in the office was wet. We had a leak in there months ago that we thought was all fixed. But, when we lifted up our office chair mat it was wet underneath. Months later! Yuck. So we've got someone coming out tomorrow to fix that. Then, when we woke up this morning, Bryce found our kitchen flooding from under the sink! So we had a plumber come out who fixed the leak, but said we need a whole new RO filter. We hadn't really had to use much of our tax return this year, but I guess we will now. Oh well. I guess it's good that we had a little extra cash. It seems like there is never really extra, right? I guess our house just wanted some attention this week.

I Don't Get It
Caitlin really likes to play with the magnets on the refrigerator. She recently learned that they will also stick to the dishwasher. But, for the life of her, she could not figure out why nothing would stick to the pantry door. She tried for 15 minutes to stick up a picture she colored. It just didn't make sense. I love those little 2-year-old minds.

Too Many Cooks...
Today I took the kids to the Arizona Youth Museum. It's one of their favorite things to do. Luckily, my great parents bought us a membership for Christmas. Right now they have an exhibit called "Table Manners". It's really fun. The kids got to design their own plates, and learn about dining in other cultures. I don't know if anyone learned anything about table manners, though. It was a free-for-all once they got to the room with the pretend kitchen and food. Kids and food everywhere.
