Vegas, Baby!

Last weekend Bryce and I went to Las Vegas. We tagged along with Bryce's cousin Danielle and his aunt Ebra. Danni was going for her 21st birthday and we jumped at the chance to get away for a few days. It was the first time we had ever left all three kids and the first time we'd ever left any of them in a different state. Bryce's parents were so good to watch them. And I don't think they missed me at all. Thanks to all those who helped us out by watching the kids friday. It took some serious planning, but we got out of Arizona and had a great time.

We stayed at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. It was pretty nice. And lots of shopping right downstairs. Bryce bought me a new purse. Hooray for husbands!


Having some quality slot machine time. Bryce played with four dollars and left with three. I know, big spenders.

We went to see Stomp Out Loud. It was a good show and we even got to meet some of the cast after it was over.

We also went to see Cirque du Soleil's "Love". It was such a great show. We had third row seats and it was amazing. I am a big Beatles fan, so that made it even better.

We had such a good time and it was nice to get away from responsibility for a little while. Next time we'll have to go a little longer. The drive there and back cuts your time a bit short.

I know, I'm sorry.

Sorry, but we are making our blog private. Yes, it's annoying, but I had something weird happen. I'll probably post about it after I make the switch. If I don't have your email, send it to me. Or you can post it as a comment if that doesn't bother you. I will probably do it at the end of August.

Happy Birthday Avery!

Today is Avery's first birthday. I can't believe it's been a year. We didn't do too much today. We'll celebrate with family this weekend. We did have cake and a couple presents, though. What a cutie!

First Day of Pre-School

Ethan started pre-school yesterday. He was so excited. Especially since he had a new Transformers shirt and Batman backpack. He is in the same class as his cousin, Kyler. I hope those two don't cause trouble.



Ethan said he had a really fun time. He was disappointed to find out that he only goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, not every day.

I Can See!

Bryce had Lasik done on his eyes last weeekend. I am totally jealous. I would love to be done with contacts. He seems to be doing pretty well. His eyes are still a little hazy, but definitely better than before. I couldn't resist taking this picture of him with his cool goggles on. They make you wear them while you sleep to protect your eyes.

Pain Revisited

It's my 5 year anniversary. No, not of my marriage. Of my big old car accident. I always remember that anniversary because it's the day after my birthday. (Yes my birthday was yesterday, shame on you for not remembering. Haha.) So, while I was thinking about it I thought I would post the pictures of my car for those that hadn't seen it.



Wow. I miss that cute little car. Now 5 years later, I have three kids and drive a big blue monster that I can hardly park. And the drunk driver that hit me? Most likely still out on the road. Why, I oughtta... (shaking of fists). Anyway, drinking and driving is so not cool. Tell your friends.
